Coaches are the best teachers

Any source of learning is a teacher. It doesn't matter if it is a book, or a person. In my opinion, I think the best teacher not only helps you in education, but also helps you in overall development. From what I think, coaches are the best teachers.

He tells us how to play in a team using different skills. Everyone in a team has different thinking and strategy. They have different skill sets. A coach helps us identify those skill sets of ours, teaches us how to sharpen them and become better. He tells us how to play in a team using different strategy and skill sets from people in the team. For example, a long jump coach trains the athletes how to get the maximum distance in the long jump.

A coach also helps us develop respect and coordination. Without respect and coordination, a team will never win. In today’s competitive world, getting respect and satisfaction from our opponent is difficult. A coach will teach us how, for example smiling to our opponent and giving them a hand when they fall. A coach teaches us to play in a team, as a team, and to have teamwork.

A quote which I learnt from values2 class saying “Practice makes perfect” is very true. Discipline is the most important factor to success in our life. Continuity and persistence are also important factor to improve and sharpen our skills. With the help of a coach, these things can be done easier, more efficient, and faster. A coach not only teaches us how to win a game, but also teaches us how to win in the game of life. We can have a higher chance of winning the game of life, succeeding in our life with a coach by our side.

Any source of knowledge can be considered as teacher. Whoever or whatever inspires you and gives you the correct direction toward your dream is the best teacher. A teacher, a book, a friend, a parent can be your teacher. In my case, I think a coach is the best teacher among all the teachers in my life. He helped sharpen my skills. He helped me develop skills which are essential and are needed in real life. Disciplines, coordination, respect, teamwork and working under pressure are such essential skills. A coach is the one and the only one to give us all we need to win the game of life.
